Dr. Barrett’s professional journey is highlighted by his unwavering dedication to mastering the art and science of dental implants and full-arch restorations. Having placed thousands of implants and successfully completed hundreds of full-arch cases, his work transcends the ordinary, offering patients life-changing solutions to complex dental issues. As the exclusive provider of zygomatic implants at Smile Science Dental Spa, Dr. Barrett has the unique ability to offer hope to those deemed unsuitable for traditional implants due to insufficient bone density.
Beyond his role in patient care, Dr. Barrett is a fervent advocate for education and professional development. His tenure as clinical faculty at Implant Pathway allowed him to impart his knowledge and experience to aspiring dental professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation within the dental community.
Dr. Afify is a board certified prosthodontist. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He received his Masters of Science and completed his postgraduate prosthodontic residency at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio.
In addition to being a key member of the team at ClearChoice Dental Implant Center in Michigan, Dr. Afify has held numerous teaching positions at Tufts School of dentistry and the University of Texas Health Science Center.
Dr. Afify is a Fellow of the American Academy of Prosthodontics and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics. He is also a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and an active member of the American Academy of Maxillofacial Prosthodontics and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Arne Hoffmann was born in Bad Harzburg, Germany. He finished a 3 1/2 year apprenticeship as a certified dental technician (CDT) in Northeim/Hanover, Germany. He then earned his dental degree in 2005 in Goettingen, Germany, where he also completed a 3-year residency in periodontics. He participated in a scientific study in cancer treatment, earning his PhD in 2008 with summa cum laude. After completing his training, he worked in a community office as a Perio-prosthodontist in Northeim, Germany.
In 2012, Dr. Hoffmann moved to Denver, CO where he obtained his certificate as a CDA and a CDT, and became the Clinical Director for NDX Perry & Young. As a clinical consultant for dentists and at the lab, his main focuses are on simplifying complex implant treatments and utilizing the newest technologies to make dental teams comfortable with new and comprehensive procedures.
Working with hundreds of dentists chair-side and guiding them through complex treatments makes Arne a unique teacher in implant education.
Dr. Drew Phillips has been dedicated to the pursuit of excellence at every level of his education and dental training. Growing up outside Atlanta, Ga., Dr. Phillips chose to attend Rollins College in Florida so he could continue his athletic passion as a competitive water skier. At Rollins, not only did he graduate with a bachelor's degree in health communications, but he was twice elected captain of their nationally ranked water ski team and was recognized as student athlete of the year. Following Rollins, he entered the Dental College of Georgia where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine and graduated as the Valedictorian of his class.
Dr. Phillips continued his dental training by completing a General Practice Residency at the Salt Lake City Veterans Affairs Hospital in order to advance his knowledge of complex treatment plans, implants, and sedation dentistry. Prior to relocating to Boise, Dr. Phillips also worked for a year in California refining his experience in digital dentistry and full arch implant surgeries (All-on-4). Dr. Phillips is currently licensed in 4 states and often travels to California and Oregon to assist, perform and teach other dentists in these advanced procedures.
Cancellation Policy - All cancellations are subject to a non-refundable administrative fee. There is no refund of tuition when cancellation occurs within 30 days of the first day of the program. Cancellation requests must be received in writing and emailed to events@sindentalusa.com and will be effective as on the date received.
