Dr. Darryl D. Burke, DDS
Ambassador
Dr. Burke graduated from Loyola University Chicago College of Dental Surgery in 1992 and began practicing alongside his father, focusing on full-mouth reconstruction and community dental care in Cicero, Illinois. In 1996, he moved to California, where he built a diverse general dentistry practice that included extractions, endodontics, periodontics, and complex prosthodontics.
Although passionate about surgery, Dr. Burke initially avoided implant placement after being discouraged by a specialist. Instead, he concentrated on restorative work and implant prosthetics. By 2012, however, his interest reignited, and he began formal implant training. Within months, he advanced from single implant placements to performing full-arch All-on-4® procedures with immediate load.
By 2014, Dr. Burke was mentoring general practitioners in implant dentistry, covering everything from simple implants to full-arch restorations. His passion for education grew, and in 2019, after being encouraged to create local, live-surgery training, he founded the Burke Implant Academy. Today, he dedicates himself to teaching GPs how to safely and successfully place implants, viewing his role as both work and a passion-driven calling.
