Key Features and Benefits: MicronMapper

Exceptional
Accuracy

MicronMapper delivers unparalleled precision in measuring implant positions. This accuracy ensures a proper passive-fit and function of the final prosthetic, leading to successful dental restorations.

Dual-Purpose
Scan Bodies

MicronMapper uses the same scan bodies for both photogrammetry scans and soft tissue (IOS) scans. This unified approach simplifies the scanning process and enhances workflow efficiency for dental professionals.

Digital
Workflow

By eliminating the need for physical dental models, MicronMapper makes the process more efficient and cost-effective. This reduction in chair time and overall treatment duration enhances the patient experience.

Easy To Use

Designed for simplicity, MicronMapper is factory calibrated and requires no warmup or pre scan calibration. Dental professionals can simply; enter the patient name, jaw, scan and send the digital files to the lab.

1. Capture Implant Position
Two Part Scanbody Set: Compatible with a wide variety of MUA platforms. A titanium base with its own internal screw attaches to a wide variety of industry leading implant platforms. That titanium base can be easily IOS scanned after placement and prior to suturing. A snap-on Scan caps can be easily attached to the titanium bases by hand when it’s time to scan with the MicronMapper. These Scancaps can then be removed and replaced with custom healing caps provided in the kit as the patient awaits their restoration.

2. Capture Soft Tissue Position
Tissue Mapper: The post operative IOS is often the most difficult scan to obtain. Especially in the mandible, the blood, gums and ever present tongue make acquiring a good post op scan near to impossible. Enter Tissue Mapper; utilizing a patented surface registration (Trace) technology, the Tissue Mapper Wand / Pointer can gently touch the gums of the intaglio and surrounding surfaces and create an extremely accurate representation of the soft tissue surface.

3. Capture Occlusal/Bite Position
Bite Mapper: The Bite Mapper involves taking a preoperative scan of the special flags mounted in the upper and the lower jaw while in occlusion. This scan will then be repeated post operatively with the MicronMapper Scanbodies mounted to the MUA’s and give the clinician and the lab the exact vertical dimension they need to ensure the perfect restoration.

4. Capture Verification
FitCheck: Verification scan bodies for your prosthesis to check that passive fit before trying in the patient.
